The successful applicant will have at least 5 years experience
in any of the following areas Hydro, Nuclear, GAS, Steam or Coal power
generation environment. This individual must have been involved in
automation projects in any of the above areas and must be abreast of
modern cutting edge technology in the Utilities area, including
knowledge of Distributed Control System (DCS). Manufacturing Automation
Experience will be considered as well.
He/She must be capable of taking a project from concept to completion including but not limited to the following:
Substation design, equipment specification, procurement, & Installation
Planning, analysis, RFP development and cost estimation.
Power System Automation, estimation of automation cost & implementation of automation
Distributed Control System Integration into existing power plant
Transformer Specification, selection and deployment
Station Management, Maintenance, upgrade, and Support
Project Management
B.Sc, M.Sc. or Ph.D in engineering or equivalent
The successful candidate must be a team planner, a communicator
and a detail oriented person who is also capable of working
independently. Extensive travel is required within North America with
occasional oversea travel. Must be computer literate in MS Office tools,
MS project, PowerPoint, Access.

You must be skilled at initiating cold calls, setting up
appointments, presenting portfolio to engineers/managers/senior
managers and have the ability to secure buy-in and commitments. The

General Duties:
Responsible for high level solution sales of Enterprise Storage
solutions, Enterprise Backup Solutions, Networking, Intel and UNIX
servers into the Open Systems marketplace.
Focused on Fortune 500, Government, and Education sectors throughout Mississauga and Brampton.
Project managed deployment team including design, pre- sales support, and field engineers
Extensive product knowledge of leading Storage, SAN, NAS and
Backup architecture including Veritas, Legato, EMC, CommVault, Brocade,
Qlogic, StorageTek, Exabyte, ADIC, NetApps, Auspex, CMD, Seagate, etc.
Extensive experience with common MS Office applications and ACT Contact Manager software.
Extensive experience with Storage Management software and Backup Software for Unix, Netware and NT environments.
